Under the Direction of Brett Duchon, The SMS Choral program has jumped leaps and bounds over the last 6 and 1/2 years.  At SMS we offer 3 choral groups that excel in the field of music.  Chorus is currently comprised of 85 musicians (open to the entire student body) that meet days 1-6 during "D" Block.  Our goal is to provide the best musical performances and quality of music education for ourselves and our audience.  The SMS Chorus performs the music from a variety of famous American and  composers such as Leonard Bernstein, Leroy Anderson, Irving Berlin, Glenn Miller, Roger Miller, Jonathan Larson, Jim Jacobs, Aaron Copland, Charles Ives, Stephen Foster, Stephen Sondheim, Peter Shickele (PDQ Bach) in addition to a variety of international composers that include  J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel (to name a few)
