We have completed the novel Hatchet, by Gary Paulsen. We enjoyed Brian's story so much that we are enjoying the sequel, Brian's Winter, as a read-aloud. Our class will also be reading another sequel, called Brian's Return, in the future.
Our class has also started Theme 2 in our language arts program. It is called "Give It All You Got", and the focus will be on biographies and autobiographies.
