The following are homework assignments for the week which are subject to change.  Any change in due dates will be announced in class.    Most homework assignments are due the next day.  For each day an assignment is late, points are deducted.  Homework will not be accepted if it is more than 3 days late and students will get a zero. 


If students are absent, for each day absent, students  get a day to make up the work.  It will not be accepted if it is more than 2 days late.

  • Invitation and the Luncheon Placemat Research Projects were due on Friday, November 7, 2008.
  • Each day the project is late, 5 points will be deducted.

    The Guest Luncheon is on Thursday, November 13, 2008,  please remind your guests to sign in and arrive at the designated time.

  • The Placemat Project and the luncheon invitations are due by November 14, 2008.

  • Student will create a Food Lab Plan and because of the field trip on Tuesday, November 18, 2007 will make the Sunshine Cupcakes on Monday, November 17, 2008.

  • Homework for Monday, November 17, 2008 is complete "AIDS: Fill in the Blank and AIDS Fact or Fiction."
  • All classes will have an end of unit test on Friday, November 21, 2008.  The test will be on germs, method of transmission, the immune system, its many parts and their functions.  Both communicable and non-communicable diseases will be covered and also AIDS.

  • The Career Portfolio Project is due on Wednesday, November 18, 2008.  Students will share their Portfolio with the class.
  • All resumes and Your Career Outline from the website www.nycareerzone.org needs to be in your portfolio.
  • The "Create a Resume" assignment is due on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 to use in the Computer Lab.
  • Part II of the "What is Respect" assignment is due on Friday, November 21, 2008.
  • The total number of words should be written in the upper right hand corner with a circle around it.  Students can send their essay to my email at titusje@stafford.ctschool.net.
