Students will explore the psychological and social impact on
the individual of his/her environment, especially the impact of family
on the individual and the individual on the family. Many
psycho-sociological theories will be studied, especially that of Erik
Erikson.
Quarter 1: Prenatal Influences Quarter 3: Young adulthood Throughout the course, students
Infancy Middle adulthood will participate in community
Young childhood outreach by working with people
in theage groups being studied,
Quarter 2: Middle childhood Quarter 4: Aging for a total of 10 hours a quarter.
Puberty and adolescence Death They will reflect on their experiences
Midterm exam Final Exam in terms of their class studies, and
have fun in the process.
