Every marking period, I do a notebook check for each class.  The objective of this notebook check is to create good organizational skills for all students.  I will post on this website the papers that need to be kept in the students' notebooks.  This list is also posted on the wall in my classroom.

DAILY GEOGRAPHY

Each and every Monday, I hand the students a list of 8 questions, and these questions are our weekly Daily Geography questions.  The answers must be given in on a very small piece of paper that I also hand to them every Monday.  Most questions can be answered by using their textbook, but some questions require an atlas, which students can use at any time, but cannot be taken home.  Questions are due on Thursday, however, students can hand in answers before Thursday, to have them corrected, and returned to them to fix.  Any grade lower than a 70 will result in the student having detention to make it up.
