COURSE REQUIREMENTS
MATERIALS
You will receive a
textbook which will be your responsibility. Please take care of
it! You must keep your book covered at all times.
I will be giving you many handouts, so I would suggest that you get a
three-ring binder. If you have difficulty getting a binder,
please let me know. It is your job to keep your binder neat and
up-to-date. You will receive dividers which will be helpful.
I will also be checking your notebook at the end of each marking
period. Below are the dates which your notebook will be collected
and graded:

highlighter and a pen, no pencil unless requested.
PROGRESS
REPORTS
You will receive a
progress report for all four quarters. Below are the dates:
ASSIGNMENT
BOOK
I would suggest that
you
maintain an assignment booklet. I will give you monthly calendars
which you may use to mark down your homework and long-term projects and
assignments. Your homework will also be posted on this page. You
may e-mail me with any questions or comments.
ATTENDANCE
Please be careful with your absences. Refer to your Student
Handbook for guidelines.
HOMEWORK
You will receive quite
a
few homework assignments, long-term research and projects.
Your homework must be handed in on time and complete to receive
credit. No
late work will be collected, unless you are absent.
If you are absent, you
have three school days to make up any work missed.

ROSETTA STONE
This week as well as next week we will spend
time on China. This will also require research time in the
library. The work is posted daily on the board. You may also
