Marketing and Technology

(Full Year Course)

Grade Level:  10, 11, 12      

This course offers students the opportunity to learn the basics of marketing. When the course is complete students will be able to explain the role of marketing in our economy, list the four elements of marketing, explain the marketing mix, create a business plan, and describe the steps in new product development.  Students will go about this through class assignments and projects.  This course also has a technology component where they also learn basics about Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
