to Success in Biology Class
Respect. In all
places in life you must show respect. Please show respect to me,
the classroom, to your classmates and yourself.
Promptness.
Everyone appreciates people being on time. Your arriving late
interrupts the learning environment of others and is very rude.
If you arrive late, you will serve one hour of detention with me.
Preparedness.
Each
day you should have your text, a three-ringed binder and a writing
utensil. No other materials should be at your desk with you.
Appreciation.
Everyone likes to be appreciated. We all come from different
backgrounds that give us different perspectives on issues. Learn
to appreciate all members of class for their uniqueness.
Safety.
The
biology lab is a room that I take pride in keeping as a safe and clean
environment. We must all do our part to keep it that way.
Sever consequences, possibly being eliminated from all lab work will
result if you cannot follow all safety procedures.
Fairness.
I
believe
in being as fair as I can to all of my students. If you ever feel
that you are not being treated fairly in class, see me privately and we
will work together to resolve any problems.
