HELP EXPAND OUR PLAYGROUND.  The PTO has committed to helping fund the playground expansion which is slated to begin late this September. We will be allocating all of our profits from the 1st fundraiser (Genevieve’s Gift Wrap, gifts, calendars, candles, etc) to help with this project.  Please be sure to participate and spread the word!  If you would like to make a donation instead of “selling” anything you may certainly do so—just be sure to enclose a note “for Playground” on your check.   


The first PTO mtg. for the 2008-09 School Year will be on Thurs., Sept. 4th. Free childcare provided in the Library Media Center.


The PTO brings many educational & fun assemblies to our school, as well as a variety of curriculum enrichment and field trip allotments to help lower the cost of field trips to parents. While we will be offering numerous fundraisers throughout the year we do not expect families to order from each one—we want to be able to offer a variety. Thank you to all the parents/guardians who participated in our first two fundraisers. They were very successful and we are now looking into more assemblies to bring to the students!

Box Tops for Education
Please clip, clip, clip all participating product coupons!  We  are now starting a Box Tops   Days on the last Friday of every month to encourage monthly submission of Box Tops.  If you have any questions or suggestions email Dawne Goodwin at goodwin4@cox.net

HOOD SOX TOPS
Save Hood Sox Tops and regular caps from Hood Light Block Milk bottles to earn 5 cents each for our school.  Send in as many as you can by the end of this September and keep saving and sending in the regular Hood caps during the entire school year.  Questions: email Georgia MacGregor at georgiakitchen@cox.net

***You can still order wrapping paper and more from Genevieve’s web site: http://www.genevieves.com and have orders shipped directly to you.  Use School Account Number 5372 and our school will receive profits. This can be done all year long.
