Stafford High School is dedicated to becoming the best it can be in every arena.  Indeed, we strive to be number one.  In the same light, as a small school, we strive to develop a family atmosphere in which we all care about each other and truly value the contribution each of us makes to our school and community.

We are PROJECT ONE!


GOALS
This group is dedicated to working to facilitate each student's acceptance of others, a growth in student understanding of cultural, ethnic, and social differences, and an increase in courtesy and respect of within the SHS community. This advisory committee works with the Stafford High School principal and strives to
1. develop ideas and programs
2. foster positive student self-images
3. develop positive inter-personal relationships
as the high school works towards educational excellence for all students.

 Students, parents, and community members are encouraged to bring their concerns or suggestions to this group. PROJECT ONE is open to the discussion of any topic and is committed to working for the improvement of the high school.

COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP
Membership on this committee changes form year to year, but generally consists of eight students, one parent, one guidance counselor, and the high school principal.
 One of the students is a senior,  three students are juniors, three students are sophomores, and one student is a freshman.Anyone interested in serving of this committee or working with this group should contact a committee member or see Mrs. Mary Ellen Glover, SHS counselor.
 

All committee members are committed to helping SHS become number one and are receptive to any suggestions students, teachers, or community members may have.  SHS Principal Francis T. Kennedy welcomes student input and is eager to have this group serve a central role in facilitating courtesy and respect between all members of the high school community.
