SHS Rotary Student Leader of the Month Award for the month
of May has gone to Steven Bachiochi.
■ Megan Owens & Gregory Burns
have received the award for scholar
athlete.
■ Katie Bradway &
Matthew Szymanski will be awarded the CABE award at the Board of Education meeting
on May 19, 2008.
■Adrian Duval &
Nathan Rossi received the Connecticut Outstanding Artist Award.
Drama Department:
■ The drama club put on a
spectacular performance of Peter Pan on May 1, 2, 3. The show was sold out on Friday and Saturday. It is great to see the magnitude of talent
that Stafford High displayed over the past three days. Congratulations!!!
■Congratulations to the Girls’ softball team for
qualifying for the state softball tournament.

Music Department
■The Madrigals sang beautifully at the
reception for NEAS&C on Sunday. The
group also represented the school when they sang for the opening at the Spring
Sizzler at the Stafford Speedway.
Welcome
■ A warm welcome to our
newest member in the office, Sandy Daigle. Sandy comes to us from Ellington Center
School.
We are looking forward to:
■The Alumni Concert organized by
Jill Gregori consisting of 45 adult alumni that will be performing at SHS on
Sunday, May 18, in the auditorium.
■The Highland Scottish Festival
on Friday, May 16 which is a source of much anticipation and excitement.
■Health Day at SHS which is postponed to the fall, is showing great promise.
■The Environmental Fair that will
be held at Stafford High on May 17, 2008 which is a tremendous undertaking.

work that he has put into this fair to help make it happen.
A Special Thank you to:

programs and all of the last minute NEAS&C cards that were needed.
