Dear Parents:

I am pleased to take this opportunity to invite you to join a new group at Stafford High School.  PARTNERS IN EDUCATION (PIE) will be a group of individuals who, consistent with school goals, engages in fund-raising and volunteer activities that will support the SHS staff in its efforts to provide an enriching and comprehensive educational experience for the students of Stafford. I plan to use this organization as a means of facilitating communication between the high school, parents, and the community at large and would encourage you to join us in striving to meet our goals.

The school store--open daily during lunches.



MISSION:  Consistent with school goals, PIE will engage in fund-raising and volunteer activities that will support the SHS staff in its efforts to provide an enriching and comprehensive educational experience for the students of Stafford High School.

PARTICIPANTS:  This group is open to students, parents, staff members and other adult residents of the Stafford community that desire to work in support of education at Stafford High School.

ORGANIZATION:  This group will be led by a three-person team consisting of a faculty member, a parent, and a student.  The SHS principal will serve as an ex-officio member of this committee.  A secretary will be selected from the membership.  The leadership for the 2007-2008 school year is as follows:  Faculty member-Laurie Dillon; Parent-Denise Jennings; Student-Megan Butler; and Secretary-Shirley Allard.

  • School Store: PIE sponsors the school store, which operates in the cafeteria through the lunch periods.  Donations are always needed.
 
MEETINGS

The meetings are the first Tuesday of each month.
The next P.I.E. meeting of the year will be Tuesday, May 6, at 7:00 p.m. in the SHS principal's conference room.
