Mission

The Stafford Middle School Library serves between 480 and 500 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students from the Stafford Middle School. The library has over 7,400 holdings, consisting of books, videos, DVDs, audio cassettes, CD-ROMs, and periodicals. The mission of the library is to meet the informational, educational, and recreational needs of the students from the Stafford Middle School. The goal of the library program is to develop lifelong learners by using technology, promoting resource based learning, developing information literacy skills, and fostering a love of reading. In order to achieve these goals the library is committed to working collaboratively with teachers to promote information literacy skills. The primary focus of the library's collection is to provide the most current resources to complement the curriculum.
