The Title I Program is federally funded and provides children with the tools to help them develop their full academic potential. Title I not only improves students’ academic skills but also fosters self-esteem and enhances students’ attitudes and motivation towards school.

Title I staff are certified teachers and highly-trained paraprofessionals in the focus areas of the program: language arts and mathematics. Working as a team with classroom teachers, the Title I staff helps provides an accelerated curriculum to children experiencing difficulty with their regular classwork. This team approach provides supplemental services geared specifically to each eligible student, supporting learning in a variety of ways.
